About
I was born traveling. Or so my father would have you believe.
A military kid, I was moving and traveling right from day one. I’ve lived in 10 different communities, in 3 different countries, and went to 4 different high schools.
As a result, I love change, travel, and don’t take things too seriously.
When I got my first job I promised myself a trip every year. It’s not always been easy, but I’ve pretty much kept that promise. So far I’ve been to 23 countries on 5 continents and I’m not done.
From the breezy beaches of the Caribbean to the breath taking architecture of Europe this world is a kaleidoscope of experiences. And I want to experience them all! Well…ok, maybe not all. 🙂
Traveling changes my normal. It stretches and grows me. It changes how I want to live and who I want to be. In particular, it makes me want to pursue a healthy lifestyle so I can continue traveling way into my silver haired years.
Like most, I was a dieter who ate, or didn’t eat, to lose weight. In 2015, I decided I wanted a new normal. I had done one diet too many and had enough. I decided to redefine myself as someone who has a healthy relationship with food and is an active person. I threw dieting out the window and am slowly changing my normal.
I’m excited to share my love of travel and no diet experience with you.
